We’ve expanded into Phoenix because we believe there is an opportunity to provide value to its vibrant and growing economy.
Below are some reasons why Phoenix is a logical next step for Ethos.
It’s a new center
for technology
Many notable tech companies have opened offices in Phoenix, including Google, Uber, Yelp, and Shutterfly.
In addition, Intel employs 12,000 people in its Arizona manufacturing facilities, most of them in Phoenix. Taiwan Semiconductor (TSMC) is building a $12 billion advanced semiconductor factory in Phoenix, which will create 1,600 new high-tech jobs and generate thousands of additional jobs in Phoenix for TSMC suppliers.
There’s a ton of talent
The Arizona universities have robust technology programs. The cost of living in Arizona is affordable. And Phoenix has more sunny days than any other city in the U.S. So, college graduates tend to stay in Phoenix, and Phoenix businesses are able to find fresh local talent and recruit employees from outside the state.
It’s close to large economic centers
Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas, Houston, and Denver are close to Phoenix, making it easy to hop on a short flight to meet with clients in those cities.
